Phase 8 -- Painting and Finishing 
Click thumbnail pictures to view large image Well, we’ve done a lot in two months time and now it’s all coming together. We have completed the chassis welding. I have added the floor supports, seat belt mounts, and all the other miscellaneous stuff I think I need. I primed the entire chassis and roll cage with zinc chromate primer and then painted it all Banner Red. Then I permanently installed the rear wheel tubes. I reinstalled the rearend and all the suspension parts. I built and installed an anti-roll device as well. This device will keep the rearend and chassis parallel and help prevent the car from leaving the line unlevel. I started to install the rest of the interior aluminum as well as blocked all the rest of the holes in the firewall with aluminum. The thing is finally starting to look like a race car!
