Surround yourself with Filters        Screen filters can save you a bunch of heart ache when used properly.  Speedtech has created a fast and simplified way to protect your nitrous engine by placing a mesh screen in the flared AN side of the # 6 fitting for the fuel source.  To inspect, all you need to do is remove the # 6 tube nut and service.  On the nitrous solenoids, we machine the NPT side of the fitting and insert a mesh screen, thus eliminating the reducer that was used before.  This saves money and space as well as keeping the intake clutter free.  These components are a standard item in all of our nitrous kits we produce.  One of the most common events we see with nitrous mishaps are the consumer not utilizing filters to protect the solenoids thus creating the possibility for a solenoid to malfunction.
