Hello! I am Gary Bond, builder of the Dragon J, a 1951 Henry J Kaiser. I did all mods to the car from frame, engine, body changes, paint, graphics and interior stitching. It is a true homebuilt custom created in my garage. I teach Art at a small Midwestern town and my summers are spent wrenching on old iron.  I have a 1950 Plymouth coupe I've shown for years and am currently working on a 1927 Nash. I hope you enjoy the 'J'.

This is the Dragon J, a 1951 Henry J Kaiser I built from frame to engine to body mods, paint, graphics and wiring to stitching my own interior. It is TRULY a handbuilt custom rod. The color is purple thistle metallic with torreador red ghost flames.

This collection of pictures shows my trading card, the interior, engine compartment and trunk. I've been pleased to place well at shows, coming home with a Rod and Custom Americruise Award of Excellence, a Goodguy's Heartland Nationals Rep's Pick and the Mayor's Charity Cruise Choice by the mayor of our state's capital. It is a fun ride that turns heads on the interstate.
