May 16-17 Cruise the Smokies-Spring Rod Run
Cherokee Indian Fair Grounds in Cherokee, North Carolina

The Rod Run features more than 500 classic and customized automobiles built before 1972.  The mountains and miles of surrounding roads, including the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway, make for good driving and amazing views.  In addition, the many attractions at Cherokee make the Rod Run a fun event for the entire family.  Registered vehicles are eligible for cash-prize drawings totaling $15,000.   Vehicle registration is $30 before the event and $35 at the door. www.cherokee-nc.com
May 17 12th Annual CycleFest
Kruse Auction Park (I-69 & CR 11A) in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, North Carolina

Heart of Carolina Steet Rodders will be holding their 24th annual Charity Rod Run on Saturday, June 21st, 2008 at Tanglewood Park The charity rod run is held annually. Beginning at 8:00 am, the show features American cars and trucks that are 1972 and older. Held at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC, the show displays nearly 200 street rods and muscle cars of all makes and models. The 3:00 pm awards ceremony includes a presentation award given by the Ronald McDonald House, Sponsor Awards, and the presentation of "North Carolina Street Rodder of the Year." There are also 10 Participants' Choice awards given - five for pre-1949 cars and five for later model cars. In addition to all of the street rod and muscle car eye candy to take in, the Heart of Carolina Street Rodders Charity Rod Run features a silent auction, 50/50 drawing, music, cash drawings, super prizes, and games for all ages. NSRA is also on hand to conduct safety inspections. Ronald McDonald himself makes an appearance from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Proceeds from the Rod Run benefit the Winston-Salem Ronald McDonald House. Jul. 12 19th Annual Ledges Classic Auto Show
Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge, Michigan

Everyone is invited to join the Eaton County Parks Department for the 19th Annual Ledges' Classic Auto and Craft Show.  The show will be held Saturday, July 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. rain or shine at Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge, Michigan.  Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. at the park entrance.  There is a $5 registration fee per car to participate in the show.  A free goody bag and dash plaque will be given to the first 250 show vehicles registered.  Door prizes will be given every hour for show participants starting at noon.  Other activities at the park include oldies music by Music Unlimited, craft show, new car display, and food and drink concessions offered by the Grand Ledge Lions Club and A&W.  For more information on the show, contact the Eaton County Parks Department at 517-627-7351, by e-mail at parksdept@eatoncounty.org, or visit our website at www.eatoncountyparks.org.
