Rumor is, the former Lee County Dragway land has been sold and will be turned into a warehouse distribution center. The old tower and what's left of the track will be removed. Anybody wishing to see what it still looks like, should do it soon.

I raced there in the late 70's and early 80's and I am currently trying to gather as much info and photos as possible so that this track will live on in spirit at least. If you have ANY info ...anecdotes.... ANYTHING please contact me.

I had contacted Ron several years ago about this project and we shared a few memories but unfortunately the project got sidelined by his untimely passing.
