My hobbies and interests!

This section of my site is geared towards my vintage slot car habit. I've been busy buying and trading cars. I've build a 1/32 scale drag strip using the Christmas Tree and spare track.

I like 1/32 scale slot cars. Generally, from the mid to late sixties American Muscle cars.

    Here's just a small list of the cars I have;

  • Eldon 1963 Chevy Impala
  • Eldon 1962 Plymouth Savoy
  • 1962 Pontiac Bonneville
  • 1963 Chevy Corvette Split Window Coupe
  • 2 different 1967 Chevy Camaros
  • 2 different Eldon 1968 Chevy Corvettes
  • Eldon 1966 Dodge Chargers
  • Eldon 1965 Ford Mustang GT 350
  • Carrera 1966 Pontiac GTO
  • Eldon 1968 Dodge Coronet
  • Strombecker 1962 Ford Galaxy
  • Strombecker 1962 Pontiac Catalina
  • Strombecker 1960 Chevrolet Corvette
  • Strombecker 1932 Ford
My goal is to make a scale 1/4 mile track, too! I've also gotten two different sets up to help build it.One is an Eldon set up from 1965 and the other is from the "Shut Down" set.

Please feel free to take a look around.

Don't red light!
Let's race!
This is an Eldon Slot car Drag racing Christmas Tree. This is a rare piece, from 1965. I still have the original box it came in.The track sections can be added on to make as long of a track you'd want to make. I think a 1/32 scale 1/4 mile track would be around 42 feet long, so I guess it's 1/8 mile excitement for now.

Eldon Drag Wars!
I need MORE old Slot Cars
Well, here are some of the cars I own. The group gets bigger by the month.

Shut Down!, Circa 1969
Check this out!
This slot car set was a promotional item from Mopar. One car is a Road Runner and the other is a GTX. It is a drag racing set up and if you've looked carefully, you will see the tiny 4 speed consols with reverse. That was to allow the cars to return to the starting line. I believe there was a working Chrismas Tree, too.

I don't own a complete set, yet. But, it would be the crown jewel of any true Mopar owner.

If anyone is selling one, drop me a line.

I wonder how come there wasn't a GM or Ford version?

Let's talk!
