1978-1987

    You can probably guess I'm partial to Elkys made in these years(I own a 83). These years where the last years for the El Camino and there just starting to become popular with El Camino enthusiasts. The only down side to owning a elky of these years is the fact that parts are hard to find due to the low popularity of the elky  made from 78-87, Cho Cho Customs, Original Parts Group, and ECParts seem to be the only place (Excluding you local scrap yard) to find stock and aftermarket parts for the 78-87  EL Camino.
