Here is where the body resurection all began. The story behind this car is is as many may have been. Don purchased this car from the original owners son who had it for years. Durring the 30's gas was hard to come by so the original owner took a can opener, literally, and cut the back of the car out to make a pick up so he could get more gas alloted durring the times when gas was rationed. This was what I was told by Don who was told this by the guys son.

The car in the feild is not the one we are fixing but one I was able to get a picture of from Don.

In the beginning I wasn't for sure what I had got myself into. I know my limitations but I am always pushing the boundries. He sent a body home with me in 4 pieces with a little bit of doubt that it would ever be a car again but was a real happy car nut when he saw the results.
